Jaw masseter Injectables

Masseter injections, also known as masseter muscle injections or jawline contouring injections, involve the injection of a neurotoxin called botulinum toxin type A into the masseter muscles. The masseter muscles are located at the sides of the jaw and are responsible for chewing and clenching the jaw. The purpose of masseter injections is primarily cosmetic, aimed at slimming and contouring the face. By injecting muscle relaxant injectables into the masseter muscles, the muscle activity is temporarily reduced, causing them to relax and shrink in size. This can result in a slimmer, more V-shaped appearance to the face, especially along the jawline.

MASSETER INJECTION TREATMENT

  • Muscle Relaxant Injections are a prescription product, only able to be prescribed a doctor or dentist, and medical consent is required

  • The procedure is relatively quick and involves several injections into the masseter muscles on each side of the face to a specific depth and with a specific volume of product. Local anesthesia is usually not required, as the injections are generally well-tolerated and minimally painful.
